Henry Jenkins spread this clip, a “viral-info-snack”, a year ago. In this clip from the near future (November 2009) he sums up the basics of his opinions on convergence culture, transmedia storytelling and the Obama campaign.
After last week’s little thinking on crossmedia I thought this video could be a welkcome addition. Hope it will give you an idea about transmedia stroytelling and that you can see that it’s a vital part of crossmedia.
Gijs Moonen is energetic, enthusiastic and gets a little bit crazy sometimes.
He’s writing his master thesis at the University of Amsterdam about social media marketing and finished his bachelor’s degree at the University of Utrecht. While he’s enjoying his final moments as a student he’s also doing the marketing and communication for CreatAd, a company that started with the concept of user generated advertisement.
