Blame the weather

Blame the weather

It was the first day this winter, that snow covered the streets. How beautiful! All white and light, crackling sounds coming from under your shoes and clean fresh air.

Until I got on the train this morning and the railway guard made an announcement: “Due to the bad weather this train will not run on schedule.”

BAD Weather!! Who is thinking of bad weather?? There is no bad weather. There are just changed weather conditions, that the railway services can’t cope with. Easy to blame the weather.

So don’t say it’s bad, people might start to believe it.

Side note: Snow, as I experienced it today in the Netherlands, has one of the best marketing mixes.
