Two weeks ago at Greener Gadgets in NYC, Saul Griffith gave one of the most inspirational talks that I’ve ever seen. Breaking down the problem of energy consumption in a way that only an engineer can, he put our personal energy use into a very compelling, and equally depressing perspective.

VentureBeat’s Camille Ricketts was nice enough to film most of it and put it online. It’s a bit grainy but that should not keep you from watching this amazing speech:
